Last updated: 17 June 2026
GigClef (“we”, “us”) connects gospel musicians, churches, and event organisers across Nigeria, and offers instrument repair and a community forum. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account details you provide: name, email, phone, city/state, instrument, bio, and profile media.
- Content you create: gigs, needs, questions, answers, messages, reviews, and endorsements.
- Usage data needed to run the service (e.g. saved gigs, applications, notifications).
- Payment confirmations from our processor. We do not see or store your card details.
How we use it
- To run your profile, match you with gigs/musicians, and enable messaging.
- To process subscriptions and confirm activation.
- To send relevant notifications and account emails.
- To keep the platform safe (reviewing reports, preventing abuse).
Service providers
We use trusted providers to operate GigClef: Supabase(database & auth), Paystack (payments), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting). They process data only to provide their service to us.
Your choices
You can edit your profile anytime, and request account deletion by contacting us. Reading the public forum and profiles requires no account.
Storage
We use cookies/local storage only to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences — not for third-party advertising.
Safety
GigClef will never ask you to pay extra to view a gig or musician. Never send money upfront or “transport fees” before a confirmed booking — legitimate gigs pay you.
